 MAX Show FAQ's
For the benefit of getting the widest possible distribution of information, we will add FAQ's as they occur to us.
 
Q: As an OVMS Member, is my admission to the MAX now free, just like Show-of-Shows?
A: Yes!  That is one of the primary reasons why the OVMS acquired the MAX - to gain extra value for the membership.
 
Q: I want to attend, but I am not yet an OVMS Member.  How can I become a member in time for the show?
A: Easy - you can join right at the door.
 
Q: I am a MAX Life Member.  Now that the OVMS owns the show, can I still get in with the dealers?
A: YES.  In fact, MAX Life Memberships transfer over to become OVMS Life Members.  The only caveat is that we require you to complete and turn in the OVMS Life Member form.  To transfer your MAX Life Membership to OVMS Life Membership, simply follow the steps below:

1. Complete, sign, and date an OVMS Life Membership Application Form. A form is attached to this e-mail. Indicate on the form MAX Life Member. A form is also available on our website under Membership > Lifetime Membership.

2. Mail the completed form to the OVMS address below. Do not send any payment. Upon receipt, a special, engraved OVMS Life Member badge will be ordered. Once completed, your badge will be available for pick up at the next OVMS show you attend at the registration area. Badges will be available before dealers enter the show.

NOTES:
1) If you are now or have ever been an OVMS member, indicate that on the form. Your old member number will be used. If you have never been an OVMS member, a new member record will be created.

2) Upon receipt of the completed application in the office and there is not enough time to have your special badge made, a temporary Life Membership badge will be available for pick up at the next OVMS show you attend at the registration area. Badges will be available before dealers enter the show.

3) Incomplete or illegible forms will be returned for correction.

4) No Life Membership badges will be issued without a completed form.
