MEMBERSHIP
SOCIETY DESCRIPTION
The Ohio
Valley Military Society, Inc., is an Ohio corporate
Society that sponsors exhibitions and educational shows
where military artifacts and regalia can be bought,
sold, or traded. The Society promotes the study and the
discussion of military history, military artifacts, and
their provenance through the collecting of military
items.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Free admission to Society-sponsored shows for all
members, their spouses, and children under 18 years of
age, subscription to the Society newsletter, The
Military Historian,
membership card and badge, and member discount on tables
for Society-sponsored shows.
REQUIREMENT
Applicant must be 18 years of age or older with no
criminal record, and be able to sign this application
truthfully. The Society is not affiliated with any
political party, faction or group, and membership in the Society is
closed to persons or members of organizations subversive
to the United States of America.
PROCEDURE AND FEE
Complete the application form, sign, date, and return to
the address listed on the form with check or money order
(US funds only), payable to: The Ohio Valley Military
Society, Inc.
New member application fee is:
$40.00 for USA mailing address; $45.00 for
mailing address outside USA.
Information provided is for Society use only, and will
not be disclosed to any person or any other
organization. Information such as collecting interests,
related organizations, etc., may be used by the Society
for statistical purposes only.

LIFE MEMBERSHIP
BENEFITS
Exclusive early admittance to all dealer set-up hours,
free admission to Society-sponsored shows, their spouses, and children under 18 years of
age, subscription to the Society newsletter, The
Military Historian,
membership card, distinctive membership badge, and
member discount on tables for Society-sponsored shows.
REQUIREMENT
Applicant must be a member of the Society in good standing for one
(1) year, 19 years of age or older with no criminal record.
TERMS
The Ohio Valley Military Society, Inc. reserves the
right to rescind any Life Membership of a member who
breaks any rules or regulations stipulated in its
Constitution and Bylaws. If it is found that a member
has a criminal record or acquires one while a Life
Member, or is a member of, or becomes a member of any
subversive group, OVMS membership will be terminated.
Life Memberships in the Ohio Valley Military Society,
Inc. are non-transferable. Any Life Member whose
membership is terminated as a result of violation of
OVMS rules and regulations, loses any rights to a refund
by the Society.
